Shrubs blocking a front door entry at a home prompted a deed compliance hearing in The Villages.
The home located at 1715 Madero Drive in the Village of Santo Domingo was the subject of the public hearing Friday before the Community Development District 2 Board of Supervisors at Savannah Center.
A complaint was received Feb. 13 by Community Standards about the shrubs. The home was the subject of another deed compliance hearing this past year due to overgrown grass.
The home was purchased in 1998 for $131,700 by Donald and Armella Bilodeau. She died in 2010 at age 74. Donald Bilodeau died in January 2025 at age 92 and the Korean War veteran was laid to rest at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell…
