The Grappler technology is helping Central Florida deputies stop dangerous drivers. This new technology was recently added to Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office patrol vehicles. Using the Grappler, drivers attempting to evade deputies are being safely stopped.
The system deploys a tether that secures to a vehicle’s rear tire, allowing deputies to gradually slow and safely stop a moving vehicle.
