A Miami man with a suspended license was arrested after he was found sleeping behind the wheel of a car at a busy intersection in Wildwood.
An officer responded at about 5 a.m. Sunday to the intersection of U.S. 301 and State Road 44 to investigate a report of a car which was stopped in the intersection, but was not moving, even though the signal light had changed several times, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department.
The man and his passenger were awakened by the officer, who asked for the driver’s license, registration and insurance information. The driver provided a name and date of birth, but the information was false.
The officer was eventually able to identify the driver a 26-year-old Daniel Truque Valencia. The officer also discovered he was driving on a suspended license…
