Major Drug Bust in Ocala, Nearly 4,850 Potentially Deadly Fentanyl Doses Seized

OCALA, Fla. — A traffic stop in Ocala led to the arrest of a convicted felon and the seizure of methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl and other narcotics, including what authorities said amounted to nearly 4,850 potentially deadly doses of fentanyl.

The arrest happened during the morning hours of April 17, 2026, in the 1200 block of Northeast 3rd Avenue.
