A Wildwood teen died at the scene of a crash Monday night on U.S. 301.
The 18-year-old was driving a Chevy Silverado at 8:50 p.m. northbound on U.S. 301, north of County Road 656 in Sumter County, when he crossed the centerline and collided nearly head on with a southbound Ford F-450, driven by a 28-year-old Webster man, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol.
