LEESBURG, Fla. — Leesburg’s Bikefest is a weekend many business owners look forward to. The crowds, the motorcycles, and the financial boom it brings to the city and small businesses create a highly anticipated atmosphere each year.
What most people don’t know is each year, this weekend brings in millions of dollars to the local economy, helping small businesses and the city get an economic boost. One business owner says they’ve been preparing for weeks to make a lasting impact on their visitors.
“We opened in April of 2024. This is going to be our 3rd Bikefest,” said James Lent, owner of Marmaduke’s Lodge. “This event really gets us. It helps us boost up our summer months and helps us get through that time.”…
