A Michigan man has been released from jail after serving time in the wake of a SWAT standoff last year in The Villages.
Darrel Colin Fuson, 47, was released from the Sumter County Detention Center after a judge sentenced him to time already served behind bars. He’d spent four months and 16 days in jail.
A woman fled a home on Evelynton Loop in the Village of Lynnhaven at about 7:30 p.m. May 2, 2025 and ran to a neighbor’s house, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. The neighbor called 911.
