A man who says he was injured in crossfire during a shootout between warring groups outside of an Ocala Waffle House and Circle K has sued the parent companies of the properties, accusing them of fostering an unsafe environment through a lack of security personnel.
Ricard C. Brown filed the lawsuit against East Coast Waffles, Inc., which does business as Waffle House, and Circle K. Stores, Inc., in the Fifth Judicial Circuit Court of Marion County on April 3.
