A Central Florida career criminal was sentenced for a home burglary. After a full-day trial, a Volusia County jury recently found defendant Michael King guilty as charged of Burglary while Armed. Immediately following the verdict, the defendant was sentenced to life in prison as a Prison Releasee Reoffender and Habitual Felony Offender.
King broke into a Daytona Beach home in March 2025. A witness saw him inside and called 911.
