Rap lyrics and social media aid in Oklahoma City drug trafficking case

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Investigators use social media posts and even music videos to help them build a major drug trafficking case that has already led to charges against 18 suspects in Oklahoma City.

According to court documents, investigators allege members of the organization conducted much of their business through platforms including Snapchat, Instagram, and encrypted messaging applications.

Investigators allege the organization trafficked narcotics and black market marijuana. It’s believed by investigators that the operation was being run by Randall McCain.
