DEL CITY, Okla. (KFOR) — Del City Police say three people were arrested after hitting multiple stores across the metro, stealing thousands of dollars in merchandise.
Micquintavia Smiley, Cortasia Young, and Joel Watts face multiple felony charges after they allegedly stole thousands of dollars’ worth of boots from Boot Barn.
“Officers were dispatched to a local store for a shoplifting that occurred. The subjects came in, put a large amount of merchandise in a duffel bag, and then left the store, returned, and took a couple more items,” said Lt. Blake Reichert, with the Del City Police Department.
Employees told police the trio stole seven pairs of boots, totaling nearly $2,500. However, their alleged crimes didn’t end there.
