Oklahoma City Police arrest alleged copper thief on roof

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – One person was arrested for allegedly stealing copper while on a roof, police say.

According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, the Real Time Information Center launched a drone to see where the suspect was and updated officers on how to reach them.

Officials say the suspect was cutting into a business’s HVAC unit. Officers were able to find the suspect and stop them.

They were quickly arrested on two felony complaints and booked into the Cleveland County Jail…
