Now that it’s July first, all of the data is official for June. With that, 2026’s average temperature of 61.1 degrees through the month of June is the new record for Oklahoma City. We got to this point by setting a record high average temperature for the months of February and March, the 7th hottest average temperature for April, and an average temperature of 80 degrees for the month of June. The Climate Prediction Center’s outlook for the month of July has Oklahoma at above average. The heat will continue this weekend with heat index values over 105 likely on Saturday and Sunday.
