NORMAN, Okla. (KFOR) – The City of Norman announced the closure of 36th Avenue NW between Tecumseh and Franklin. The popular route has been closed due to a roadway hazard caused by an underground pipe failure.

The City of Norman also urges drivers to avoid the area until proper repairs are made. A detour route will be in place for public traffic until the repairs are complete.
