OKLAHOMA – Copper theft is increasing in Oklahoma, with the state ranking sixth nationwide for copper wire theft incidents affecting AT&T’s network.
As of Aug. 1, AT&T reported more than 300 copper theft incidents impacting its Oklahoma network. Tulsa accounted for 93 of those incidents, while Oklahoma City accounted for 86.
AT&T offers reward for information
AT&T recently approved a reward of up to $10,000 in Oklahoma for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of people suspected of copper theft.
