OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) — Even with a cold front slowly passing through the state today, we still saw temperatures soar into the triple digits again. In Oklahoma City, this marks the 23rd day this year with highs in the 100s. This year is now tied for 12th most years of 100-degre days with 1966 and 1970. With more 100s expected in the coming days, we should continue to rise up the list and even break into the top 10! Rain chances will be few and far between, but a few showers and storms are possible Thursday and again Saturday that might cool us down briefly.
THURSDAY: Partly cloudy with isolated showers and storms in the morning and then again in the afternoon and evening. Highs will still be near 100 with winds out of the northeast at 5 to 10 mph.
FRIDAY: Sunny with a high of 102. Winds will turn out of the southeast at 5 to 10 mph…
