OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — An Oklahoma man who survived being run over and dragged hundreds of feet by an alleged drunk driver is back home tonight.
“It’s a good day he’s out!” said Bettina Maldonado-Perez, Jose Perez’s sister-in-law.

It has been a long journey to here for Jose Perez, or Lobo as his family called him. On Wednesday evening, he finally headed home after more than a month at OU Health.
“We’re super excited to take him home,” said Bettina. “It’s been a long time.”
In early July, Lobo was severely injured when police say he was hit by a car and dragged nearly 400 feet.
