OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Two Oklahoma men pleaded guilty to federal drug charges after being accused of distributing a synthetic opioid that ultimately led to one person’s death.
According to the United States Department of Justice, 21-year-old Collin Shane Kirby, of Oklahoma City, and 24-year-old Shane Michael Burgess, of Mustang, both admitted to distributing a controlled substance analogue.
Public records state the charges stem from a drug transaction between Kirby and Burgess on December 12, 2025, which contained N-Propionitrile Chlorphine, a synthetic opioid known as cychlorphine.
