EDMOND, Okla. (KFOR) – Two men have been arrested, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI), for embezzling from an Edmond company.
OSBI says 48-year-old Cory Brown was the president of Summit Technologies in Edmond from 1997 to 2022, and 41-year-old Matthew Burleson worked in human resources for the company from 2006 to 2022.
Investigators say Brown and Burleson used their positions to increase their pay and used company accounts to pay personal expenses, including travel (such as personal jets), down payments on luxury vehicles, and large purchases from Cartier and Louis Vuitton.
