A Spanish Village North of Downtown
You’ll find the Paseo just north of downtown Oklahoma City, where a curved two-block street runs beneath a canopy of trees.
Stucco walls and red clay tile roofs line both sides, and the whole thing feels dropped in from somewhere across the Atlantic. You can walk the entire district in one visit, ducking into galleries and shops as you go.
It looks nothing like the rest of Oklahoma City, and that’s the point. The story behind why it looks this way starts almost a century ago.
