OKLAHOMA CITY – A 12-year-old boy is beginning the next phase of recovery after spending 65 days in an Oklahoma City hospital following a fiery racing crash.

Case Higgins, of Kansas, was racing a junior sprint car at I-44 Speedway in Oklahoma City on July 24 when he encountered another driver on the track.

Case said he had little time to react. “It was either hit him or roll the car and I’d rather … I didn’t really have enough time to make a decision.”…
