A traffic stop last week on Pennsylvania Ave. in The Village led to the arrest of Anthony T. Adams, 38, from Oklahoma City for outstanding arrest warrants, the discovery of a stolen handgun and possessing over 8.5 pounds of marijuana with intent to distribute plus a host of other charges.
Last Friday at around 12:50 p.m., Village Police Corp. Caleb O’Toole observed a vehicle driving northbound on Pennsylvania Avenue with its hazard lights on.
“The vehicle was being driven with a flat tire, causing quite a bit of congestion and had an expired paper license tag,” said Village Police Chief Russ Landon. “The officer conducted a traffic stop and asked the driver for his driver’s license and was told he did not have one.”…
