Crews pour concrete on May Avenue bridge

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — If you’ve driven near May Avenue and Northwest Expressway, you’ve probably seen some big changes. First, the old bridge was removed, new beams went up, and on Wednesday, crews poured concrete on the new bridge deck and ramps.

Crews got to work early Wednesday morning as they hit a major milestone in the $15 million project.

“It is a project between the City of Oklahoma City and the Department of Transportation. This will be the first diverging diamond interchange for the city, not the state,” said Shannon Cox, the Public Works Public Information Officer for the City of OKC…
