Oklahoma is having a tough season so far, but it appears head coach Brent Venables is set to continue with quarterback John Mateer despite some of his own struggles.
Mateer threw for just 44 yards in the first three quarters in Oklahoma’s loss to South Carolina, but he retains the faith of his coach, at least for now, per Matt Zenitz.
