Five Oklahoma chefs have been named semifinalists for one of the most prestigious culinary awards in the nation. The list of 2024 James Beard Restaurant and Chef Awards semifinalists was announced on Wednesday, with five Oklahomans making the cut. The James Beard Awards honor those who create exceptional food, food media content and better food systems while demonstrating a commitment to racial and gender equality, community, sustainability and a culture where all can strive.
