Oklahoma man arrested in connection to Miami homicide

MIAMI, Okla. ( KFOR ) – A man has been arrested in connection to a homicide in Miami, Oklahoma.

According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, the Miami Police Department requested the bureau’s help on January 5 in investigating the shooting death of 27-year-old Matthew Vincent.

Officials say multiple people got into an altercation near Second Avenue and NE and H Street in Miami. This altercation led to the shooting of Vincent.

Based on the evidence found during the investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for 34-year-old Travis Wilbur. He was found and arrested on January 26 and booked into the Craig County Jail on a First-Degree Murder charge.
