On Monday evening, the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder (in Oklahoma) by a score of 107-101.
Anthony Edwards led the way with 27 points, four rebounds, four assists and one steal while shooting 10/20 from the field and 3/5 from the three-point range in 40 minutes of playing time.
However, the All-Star guard was not happy with the officiating and had a very honest postgame interview ( h/t Bally Sports North ).
Edwards: “Imma take the fine because the refs did not give us no calls tonight. We had to play through every bump. Every grab. I don’t know. I don’t know how we won tonight. Big shoutout to my team, big shoutout to my coaches.”
The Timberwolves are now in sole possession of the first seed in the Western Conference with a 33-14 record in their first 47 games.
They are 7-3 over their last ten games and are 16-10 in the 26 games they have played on the road.
Following the Thunder, Edwards and the Timberwolves will return to Minnesota to host Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday evening at the Target Center.
