Pre-Nursing students take care of some cuddly patients

OKLAHOMA CITY ( KFOR ) – Pre-Nursing students at Francis Tuttle Technology Center provided health care services to some furry friends in need.

According to Francis Tuttle, Childcare Center children were invited to bring in their stuffed animals for a routine checkup. The Pre-Nursing students also used this as an opportunity to teach the kids about how doctors look after their patients.

The stuffed animals were brought in and placed on an exam table so they could have their heartbeat, blood pressure and other vitals checked. Injured teddys were also provided with bandages to help with the healing process.

After all the checkups were finished, the students were glad to report all of the stuffed animals are healthy.
