MIDWEST CITY, Okla. ( KFOR ) – Officials are investigating after a Midwest City house explosion caused a fire Wednesday afternoon.
Fire crews were called to the scene near Reno Ave. and S Post Rd. around 3 p.m. Wednesday.
“From the reports of the neighbors and walking around looking, it does appear that there was some sort of explosion,” said Bert Norton, Midwest City Fire Chief. “We’re not really sure what it is at this time. Obviously, it’s gonna be under investigation to determine the cause.”
Officials say no one was home at the time, but one dog was killed in the fire.
