On Sunday morning, Oklahoma picked up a commitment from 2025 offensive lineman Ryan Fodje .
Hailing from Bridgeland (TX), Fodje is listed at 6-foot-5 and 280 pounds. A 3-star recruit, the Houston-area product chose the Sooners over USC, Texas, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Missouri and others.
As a junior in 2023, Fodje was named a First-Team All-District Selection after starting at right tackle and helping the Bears to a playoff appearance.
The talented offensive lineman also competes in track and field, throwing the shot put nearly 40 feet as a sophomore in high school.
Fodje is teammates with fellow 2025 offensive tackle Jonte Newman , who included the Sooners in his top eight schools last month.
Fodje and Newman both visited Texas in late January, but OU still managed to come out on top in the pursuit for Bridgeland’s coveted right tackle. Fodje also reportedly visited Texas A&M last weekend.
Newman, who plays left tackle for the Bears, included both Texas and Oklahoma in his top eight.
