Oklahoma City receives $7 million grant to help those experiencing homelessness

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City received $7 million Thursday to help fight homelessness by providing a lifeline to people looking for a place to stay. Each night, 1,400 Oklahomans experience homelessness, according to city leaders. The millions of dollars in grants from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development awarded will provide a major boost to help those in need.
