Police seize guns, drugs after two-month investigation

OKLAHOMA CITY ( KFOR ) – The Oklahoma City Police Department worked alongside the Hefner Crime Unit to find the suspects responsible for numerous crimes committed in four different metro area jurisdictions.

According to OKCPD, “Operation Jingle Bells” began in December of 2023 and ended in January 2024. The operation started after more than 900 car burglaries were reported in Oklahoma City between 2022 and 2023. A large sum of those burglaries reported firearms being stolen.

Hefner Crime Unit officers began the investigation and worked with OKCPD’s Burglary Unit to successfully find the crew responsible for those crimes.
