Before any fireworks were shot up inside Allegiant Stadium from touchdowns, country music icon Reba McEntire set some off herself prior to kickoff in the 2024 Super Bowl. The Oklahoma native gave a moving and beautiful rendition of the national anthem that brought Chiefs’ defensive lineman Chris Jones to tears, on the 50th anniversary of her singing it for the very first time in public at the National Finals Rodeo in Oklahoma City in 1974.
