Oklahoma Extends Offer to 2026 Quarterback out of California

On Tuesday, Oklahoma offered talented 2026 quarterback Jaden O’Neal from Newport Harbor (CA).

Listed at 6-foot-3 and 215 pounds, O’Neal has yet to be rated by any of the major recruiting services, but already holds 20 offers from schools around the country.

In addition to OU, Washington, Florida State, Miami, Oregon, Penn State and others have already expressed interest in the sophomore signal caller.

O’Neal earned first-team All-Sunset League honors for his efforts in 2023, also being awarded Newport Harbor’s Offensive MVP award.

Aside from his impressive size, scouts rave about O’Neals arm strength, highlighting the velocity and distance on the Newport Beach, CA, product’s throws.

In January, the Sooners stopped by Newport Harbor to check in on O’Neal just a few days after the standout sophomore was crowned MVP at the Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase.

The Texas Longhorns visited O’Neal the next week, but have yet to offer the big-armed quarterback.

In early January, O’Neal competed at the All-American National Combine in San Antonio, where he reportedly performed very well. According to California Preps Publisher Dave Keefer , O’Neal was one of the event’s top performers.
