A HOMEOWNER said she and several residents were upset after their cars were towed from outside their homes.
Kirsten Griffey said the management at her complex in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma had removed dozens of vehicles.
Griffey, a resident at the Highland Pointe apartments, said many cars vanished on February 1, according to NBC affiliate KFOR-TV.
The homeowner claimed that she saw people taking away dozens of cars in the morning and added that her vehicle was one of those affected.
“Everybody’s off work. It’s usually really full,” she said.
“There’s a lot of cars missing.”
“They were just taking cars left and right, leaving the parking lot empty,” she added.
Griffey said that the management team told her that they removed 30 cars that day due to registration problems.
The homeowner added that her tag had expired a month ago but wished the management group had given her more time to fix that.
She added that finances had been an issue and she was going to wait until her boyfriend received his next paycheck.
