HOCHATOWN, Oklahoma ( KTAL/KMSS / KFOR ) – Choctaw Nation is building its newest casino and resort in Hochatown, Oklahoma.
The Choctaw Landing Resort & Casino will feature a 100-room hotel, a pool, and several places to eat and drink including a Starbucks.
They say it will be primarily geared towards families but will also have plenty for guests looking to gamble.

There will be a 600 hundred slot machine gaming floor and room for 8 table games such as roulette.
Choctaw Landing General Manager Amy Davis says one of the reasons they chose Hochatown as a location, was that it was a tourist destination that has been on the rise, saying “We just knew it was an was an opportunity for us to get in here and help out the town of Hochatown because it’s growing and it’s trying to establish itself.”
Hochatown Mayor Dian Jordan says the area has been a tourist destination for a long time, but thanks in part to the advent of social media and an increased interest in reconnecting with the great outdoors during the Covid-19 pandemic, now the tourism business in Southeast Oklahoma is booming.
