Lawmaker steps in after Norman homeowners complain of planes flying late into night

NORMAN, Okla. – An Oklahoma state representative began looking into complaints in Norman after a handful of residents spoke out about aircraft noise late at night. State Rep. Jacob Rosecrants said he had heard homeowners within a mile of Westheimer Airport in Norman complaint about late-night flights, some even past midnight. A big reason for the noise is more student pilots at the University of Oklahoma have enrolled in the last two years.
