What should have been a friendly demonstration in favor of a City Council resolution saying “no” to toll roads in the Norman area turned into an unscheduled episode of “American Horror Show” as stunned residents watched in disbelief as a City Engineer unveiled the details of a newly-revealed campaign of destruction and mayhem designed to build over 50 miles of six-lane toll roads through the heart of Norman’s countryside, watershed and drinking water sources.
