Edmond family says gun was pointed at them while driving in an act of road rage

EDMOND, Okla. ( KFOR ) — Nathan Pease and his wife were with their 10-year-old son driving East on Danforth St. in Edmond on July 20 when another driver pulled in front of them, leaving the family shocked with the events that followed.

“Car pulled out in front of us at a stoplight, I honked at him and the guy gave us the bird. And so we slowed down and he actually pulled a gun out and he pointed it,” says Pease.

The driver’s actions left him and his wife stunned.

“It was just shocking that something from like a honk would escalate to him pulling a gun out on, you know, a woman and a child in the car with me,” said Pease.

After the gun was allegedly pointed towards Nathan’s wife in the passenger seat, they called 9-1-1.

“We read off his car information as far as his tag and the make and model of everything on his car,” Pease adds.

Edmond Police caught up with the suspect in a business parking lot. Court documents say the suspect asked officers if he was pulled over for road rage.
