Mayor David Holt pitches need to approve Oklahoma City hotel tax

OKLAHOMA CITY – From the potential opportunity to host some Olympic games in 2028 to a new police chief and the upcoming hotel tax vote, Oklahoma City has a lot going on. On Tuesday, Oklahoma City voters will decide whether to raise the hotel tax from 5.5% to 9.25%. If approved, the tax could bring in a little more than $11 million.
