Two arrested, accused of afterhours assault at Scissortail Park

OKLAHOMA CITY ( KFOR ) – Two men accused of assaulting a woman on Skydance Bridge in early August have been charged.

According to a report, the incident happened August 10 just before midnight at Scissortail Park with officers responding to an assault and battery call.

The parks hours are from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., but the victim told News 4 there were still plenty of people out the night of the assault and that they had been to the park around that time in the past without any issues.

“Nothing every really happened, except for that day,” she said.

Court documents say Anthony Nunez and Jakaire Bradford told the victim she was in their way while she was skateboarding. The victim said she didn’t know the men. The victim told police and News 4 that her skateboard was kicked out from underneath her, making her fall. While she was on the ground she says the suspects began hitting her with fists, their feet and a pistol.

“My jaw was kind of messed up a little bit, my nose and my eyebrow,” she said.
