“It’s surprising when you don’t have water, what you can’t get done. Can’t get clothes or wash or anything,” says Butterfield.

He also says, “You just hope and pray that you’re going to get water the next day.”

Butterfield tells News 4, water main breaks happen frequently in his neighborhood.

“It’s been about three or four in the last couple of months at least, if not a little bit more,” says Butterfield.

News 4 reached out to Oklahoma City’s Water/Sewer 24/7 Emergency Line. A woman confirmed over the phone, as of Sunday evening there are about 10 water main breaks across the metro.
