Family pleads for answers on hit-and-run that left loved one dead

That man’s family, who live more than a thousand miles away, have been trying to piece together what happened in the days since the crash happened, but they’ve been finding that process difficult.

It’s hard to find the words to describe the anguish James Adams and his family have been living with.

“There ain’t enough words in the English language,” James Adams said.

“I wake up every morning wishing that it was just a nightmare,” James Adams’ daughter, Kimberly Adams, said.

“I asked… I wonder why we haven’t heard from Jimmy, right,” James said.

His son, Jimmy Adams, lived in Oklahoma City—more than a thousand miles from his family.
