“They don’t seem serious about the game” – Carlos Arroyo doubts the OKC Thunder

The Oklahoma City Thunder are the hottest team in the NBA right now. They’re riding an 11-game winning streak and leading the packed Western Conference by a mile with a 27-5 record. It’s hard to find any fault with how the Thunder have been playing, but Carlos Arroyo has one problem.

On his recent appearance on “The OG’s” podcast, the Puerto Rico legend shared who he thinks will come out of the West this season, revealing one factor that worries him about Oklahoma City’s squad.

“OKC, to me, they don’t seem serious about the game. I don’t know, I could be old-school, you know what I’m saying. They’re extremely talented, though,” Arroyo shared .

Young, fun, and relaxed

While Carlos is correct in his sentiment about the Thunder seemingly always smiling and clowning around, that is what happens when your team is busting up the whole Association. When it’s time to get serious and play, OKC focuses on the task like no other team in the NBA.

Ranking in the top 10 on both sides of the floor, the Thunder can hurt you in various ways. The squad has rallied around the franchise cornerstone, led by the MVP frontrunner, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (31.2 points, 6.0 assists, 5.5 rebounds per game).
