As the dining scene in Oklahoma City becomes home to various new culinary gems, there are endless opportunities for foodies to get their munch on.
While 2024 brought some sadness with closings, it was also a great year for new concepts opening in and around OKC, including places for small bites and sandwiches, a Korean steakhouse and more all worth visiting again.
Now in 2025, the new year looks to be a year of elevated Italian, Latin and other global fare, based on several new offerings.
Here are six restaurants slated to open — or reopen — in the OKC metro area in the coming months:
Bar Sen, 1630 N Blackwelder Ave.
Oklahoma City’s two-time James Beard Finalist for Best Chef: Southwest is set to launch a new restaurant, Bar Sen , at 1630 N Blackwelder Ave, right next to Ma Der Lao Kitchen.
Chef Jeff Chanchaleune hopes to open in January, and diners will be able to get his daily specials full-time. But Chanchaleune is by no means the only restauranteur and chef cooking up something new and exciting for OKC diners.
