NORMAN, Okla. (KFOR) — A Norman City Councilman was arrested on Monday after allegedly misusing funds from his campaign bank account in 2023.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says Ward 1 Councilman Austin Ball reported that money from his campaign bank account had been fraudulently spent from June 2023 to November 2023.
The investigation reportedly revealed that Ball spent money from his campaign account for personal benefit, and that he filed two false documents with the Norman City Clerk.

An arrest warrant was issued for Ball on Monday based on evidence gathered during the investigation.
