Edmond Police warn of metro credit union scam

OKLAHOMA CITY ( KFOR ) – According to the Edmond Police Department, True Sky Credit Union customers may be affected by a recent scam.

Officials say customers may be contacted by someone claiming to need help with a fraud investigation. Once the customers engage, they could be locked out of their accounts and fund could be transferred.

To avoid scams like this one:

  • Never share personal information or passwords over the phone
  • Always verify with your local branch if you receive suspicious calls or messages.
