Trio sentenced in Yukon robbery, assault

EL RENO – A Jonesboro, Ark. man has been sentenced to state prison while two accomplices received probation for their roles in a Yukon robbery and assault during a drug deal gone bad.

Dominique Trevonne Warren, age 34, was convicted March 13 in Canadian County District Court after pleading guilty to second-degree robbery (amended from conjoint robbery), aggravated assault and battery, conspiracy to traffic in illegal drugs, and trafficking in methamphetamine.

As part of a plea agreement, District Judge Khristan K. Strubhar ordered Warren to spend eight years in Oklahoma Department of Corrections’ custody followed by 12 years of probation. Warren received credit for time already served at the Canadian County Jail, where he has been housed since being booked in January 2024. He will be transferred to ODOC to serve his sentence…
