City of OKC offers discounted rain barrels to conserve water

OKLAHOMA CITY ( KFOR ) – The City of Oklahoma City and the Central Oklahoma Storm Water Alliance are encouraging residents to conserve water by offering discounted rain barrels.

Officials say residents can order an upcycled 55-gallon rain barrel for $69.50 at OKC.gov . Participants will need to specify Oklahoma City as the “Rainbarrel Program City” during online checkout.

The deadline to order a barrel is April 28.
