A new fan-favorite spot to watch the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon has emerged this year, with Mesta Park being the place where neighbors turned race day into a full-blown Mario Brothers-themed party.
Residents of Mesta Park, located about two miles from the finish line, set up early Sunday morning, lining the streets with colorful decorations and wearing costumes inspired by the Nintendo video game series.
